You are invited to attend the second Public Meeting for the Klingle Valley Trail EA/Section 106 Evaluation

There will be a meeting held December 16, 2009 (6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Mount Pleasant Library, Large Conference Room, 3160 16th Street, NW (near Lamont Street, NW. The purpose of the meeting is to present design options for the proposed multi-use trail and restoration of Klingle Road, including storm water management and stream stabilization.

Klingle Road was dedicated as a road forever and given to the District of Columbia as an easement use as a public highway.  If the District of Columbia does not use this land as a road they loose the easement and it goes to the abutting land owners.

The Cheh legislation did not close the road and the road remains open.
